The K3/K7 site is a prominent high-rise location in Arnhem's station area and occupies a very prominent place in the cityscape due to its high visibility from all sides. Our ambition was to give a new impetus to the city that does justice to Arnhem's unique character and in particular is an addition to the station area by strengthening the architectural vision of UN studio and the municipality. In its volume structure and materialisation, Arnhem Crossing links up with the historic small-scale city centre, the Pathé cinema and UNStudio's now internationally renowned public transport terminal, and forms a logical connection between them when viewed from the south.
Arnhem is located on the intersection of a charming provincial town to a leading hub. Between the Randstad and the east, between Amsterdam and Düsseldorf.
K3K7 offers the opportunity, or maybe the task, to strengthen connections.
Between park and Rhine, between Veluwe and Betuwe. But also between city and station, between living and working.
