Healthy Urban
Quarter Utrecht
MOD is a reflection of a new Utrecht, sustainable and healthy and, above all, for everyone. We believe inspiring and healthy neighborhoods connect tomorrow to today – and inclusive cities connect me to us, to all.
We are MOD.

The Healthy Urban Quarter will be built in the Beurskwartier in Utrecht, right across the largest public transport hub of the Netherlands. Healthy Urban Quarter is a large project, and it is challenging and ambitious with respect to sustainability, health and innovation. Together with Paul de Ruiter Architects we developed a pitch concept that matches these ambitions: a landmark building that – as a reflection of the cathedral – gives Utrecht’s cityscape a grand appearance in terms of position, environment and future.
A healthy, vital and mobile city. That is what Utrecht is working towards. For residents, now and soon, for visitors and for entrepreneurs. We believe in the power of new collaborations and new perspectives.
In a future that starts today. And again tomorrow. A future based on different beliefs. Changing the game. Because continuing to do the same thing keeps delivering the same results. A change from investing to inspiring. From more to better. From emptiness to space. And from space to places that people take to their hearts. The heartbeat of the city.
Envision the future, reframe the context, connect the unconnected and a continuous process of trying, learning and growing.
