Building a future.

When it comes to convincing not only a ministry but also a large group of parents and children that there is no place better suitable for the new location of European School Bergen than the beautiful city of Alkmaar, all the stops have to be pulled out. After all, this is not just about a beautiful new building in a nice area, but very much also about the future and important decisions of many families.

Choosing a life closely connected.

We had the pleasure of supporting the municipality of Alkmaar in this process. Under the slogan "closely connected", the advantages of the city of Alkmaar were presented and served as a starting point for versatile communication tools – including a powerful pitch video as well as an informative documentary about all those involved, showing the process of developing ideas, participation of parents and children and the municipalities vision. Needless to say, it is particularly important to let families have their say here too!

Step by step towards the
European School Alkmaar

In January of 2021, we proudly submitted the bid book for the European School Alkmaar to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. The Ministry previously announced that Alkmaar would be proposed as the location for the new European School. The final decision on the location has been made by the European Board of Governors at the end of 2021!
